Fantasy Forest ~ alcohol ink on Yupo

My latest ink painting. This time I went with a forest scene in vibrant colors to bring the fantasy. Creating the leaves and undergrowth is so easy with my trusty felt stamper.

Pat, Stephie...thank you, both! These inks are so fun to work with and I'm discovering new applications for them all the time. I hope you'll both give them a whirl sometime. You won't regret it.

Hello Billie:) I have no idea what a felt stamper is, but your painting is lovely and full of fantasy!

Check my post on July 5th, Renate. I posted a photo of the stamper. It looks like a regular stamper w/handle but has velcro on the stamp surface. Place a piece of white felt on the velcro, dot some ink on it and start stamping. The effects can be magical.

This is beautiful. I have done some ai, mostly stamping on tiles and dominoes. How did you do this background? It is really soft.Patty1

Thanks, Patty. :) I used lots of Ranger blending solution, then applied the ink and tilted the Yupo. Makes the best soft color blends.
