I took a break from the portrait today to play with Mr Doob:
http://mrdoob.com/120/harmony It's an online digital sketching/graphic art program that allows you to let your creative kid come out and have fun. Of course, I had to do a cat. Google 'Mr Doob' sometime and give it a try. I couldn't seem to post a hot link on Blogger today and one word of caution. It doesn't work well with IE7 so if you run Firefox or Chrome you shouldn't have a problem. Btw, this took all of 2-3 minutes to complete. Easy peasy.
Very special! Just a little rest for the brain:)
ReplyDeleteIsn't the program just fabulous? I love it for knocking off quick sketches when a sketchbook isn't at hand. The cat turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteRenate, my brain needed a rest because I began over thinking it too much. That's a recipe for creative paralysis and/or disaster. I've since broken through and hope to post an update soon. I'm just waiting for another sunny day to snap a photo. Maybe I'll even have it completed!
ReplyDeleteI love Doob, Jeanette. It's quick and fun and if you make a mistake you just hit 'clear'.;)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. I'll have to check this Doob out. All digital I'm guessing?
ReplyDeleteI love this wonderful"Doob" cat! So original. Your artwork of the girls is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteAll digi, Kay. Outcomes depend on how good you are with your computer mouse.;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol and welcome to my blog!
