I've sure had fun with this one. I finished up the dragonflies yesterday but today thought it needed a little something else. I've had a 'thing' for metallics lately so I got out my gold Zig Painty and went to town.
Thx! Iridescents work pretty well too, Patty. Every year I seem to have some new obsession, whether it's a subject, a color and this year it's anything metallic. I have to be careful and not overdo it, tho.

ReplyDeleteThe image does resemble stained glass a little, Anita. IRL the effect is more like cloisonné and because of the nature of metallic paint, in certain light the gold disappears completely. It's like three paintings in one.
