I'm going to continue working on this one for awhile longer. i'm trying to resolve all the kinks before starting anew. still trying to work out the head/ear issue. i'll figure it out somehow. someone on Wetcanvas suggested i make a model of a cat's head from a kneaded eraser and use that for a reference.

IMO, a dark colored or grey cat wouldn't work well. that's why i chose an orange tabby. well, sorta tabby. hope that's ok with you.Billie Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336330932102277633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-91988273881681505712009-03-15T19:51:00.000-07:002009-03-15T19:51:00.000-07:00Billie my cat is coming along great I can’t wait t...Billie my cat is coming along great I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished. I do agree with others about the ears not being shaped right, is it to late to fix them? I’m also having a hard time deciding whether or not I like the color of the cat, the one I have at home is a tabby so it’s light to dark gray and a fair amount of black strips. I do think that dark colors would not work out well at night even by moon light…I think.

Have a nice evening,
Mike DaughtreyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16406001647976374446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-28984749215852733482009-03-15T12:27:00.000-07:002009-03-15T12:27:00.000-07:00this one will definitely be a do-over, Anita. i ne...this one will definitely be a do-over, Anita. i need to make some major changes to the cat. love the saying..."herd cats". can you imagine? I can't even catch Gizmo(my other cat)so i can't use her for a model either. i'll keep fussing around until i get it right eventually.Billie Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336330932102277633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-45596387730569910782009-03-14T17:32:00.000-07:002009-03-14T17:32:00.000-07:00This is coming along very well. I think your read about the cat's head is not the head, but the ears that may not be positioned quite right.

And convincing a cat to do something? Yeah... good luck with that! :)Jeanette Jobsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08935974758134419990noreply@blogger.com
