About Me

My photo
Billie Crain
I am a self taught artist residing in northern lower Michigan. Although I've always loved creating art I began pursuing it seriously in 2005. I work in several mediums but my primary medium is watercolor which I especially enjoy because of the unique challenges it presents. I also like experimenting, painting on alternative surfaces using various techniques and styles. The majority of my inspiration comes from Nature and animals. I'm an avid cat lover so cats often show up in many of my paintings. I am a member of Northern Michigan Artists Market Gallery in Petoskey, Michigan and my original paintings and prints have sold both nationally and internationally.
