I think that would look awesome. I settled for some pretty bright, potent colors this time, tho.Billie Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336330932102277633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-48037263679403520102010-07-31T10:37:58.192-07:002010-07-31T10:37:58.192-07:00This looks gorgeous! So...how about a very mottled mix of colors, incorporating the blue and that violet in the bg - like a stormy sky? I admire your method on this one, trying to find the right mix before even starting.RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-65217837001174256972010-07-25T10:48:30.340-07:002010-07-25T10:48:30.340-07:00I will certainly check out Wright's sunflowers...I will certainly check out Wright's sunflowers, Nick. Thanks for the suggestion. I've looked at other artist's versions of sunflowers online and found some pretty bad sunflower art out there. I'm currently stalled because I don't have a board large enough to accomodate the size of the paper. Also I can't seem to come up with a blue I really like either.Billie Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336330932102277633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-16211976309691246052010-07-25T10:39:32.803-07:002010-07-25T10:39:32.803-07:00Thanks, Vera.:)Thanks, Vera.:)Billie Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336330932102277633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37200829.post-54913511279226822332010-07-25T05:42:40.704-07:002010-07-25T05:42:40.704-07:00I like the shape and composition, hope it turns o...I like the shape and composition, hope it turns out as you hope.
